Camp Virgil Tate offers a variety of recreational
activities on over 400 acres of land. We have hosted many
high-school and college cross-country meets on our grounds, which are also
used for practice fields by community soccer teams.
Two lighted Basketball Courts, sand volleyball court,
softball field, and horseshoe pit are also available.
Sports equipment may be checked out at the camp
office located in the lodge. |
| There are several trails for hiking or
biking.
An archery range is located near the basketball
courts (archery equipment is not provided).
A Two-Acre pond for catch-and-release fishing is
open to groups renting the camp. The pond features an accessible
fishing pier and gazebo.
The large, flat field is perfect for all
sports! |
