Rehabilitation Services, Camp Virgil Tate now offers improved accessibility to
our facilities.
Two sleeping rooms in the Boone
Maxwell Lodge have been redesigned for wheelchair access and feature
specially designed restrooms. The public restrooms in the lower
conference room level have also been completely redesigned for easier
access.
A new parking lot featuring ramp access
to the upper level of the building is now locatred on the right side of
the lodge. Chairlifts (pictured at left) have been added to the
lobby to facilitate easy access between floors.
A new Gazebo/Fishing platform
greets visitors at the fishing pond. Perfect for fishing or spending
a relaxing few minutes by the pond, this memorial was
constructed by volunteers to honor one of their own.
